Progress is made!
Two days in a row... must be a record or something for me.

Progress on the Bowl-O-Doom has been made!

Items Finished:         One (pair)
Items in Progress:    Two
Items in Disgrace:    One

Behold, Fetching!

Not blocked as of yet.  I will go on a blocking spree when I have some more items finished.  The Misti Alpaca (Worsted 4ply) I used for this was an absolute JOY.  BUY SOME.

And so the battle continues.

Yum! Fetching looks awesome! Did you do the picot edging?

The yarn bowl looks nice. I finished some socks last night and a pair of fetching earlier in the week. I will post later.

As you know, yarn is one of our favourite decorating items. :)

Oooooooh Fetching! Everybody and their dog is making those lately, I really want to make a set (or five) too! But I need to finish a bunch of other stuff first. Grr. They look very.... curly. Is it just the yarn that sort of flops around? Or do you have to block all Fetchings regardless of yarn? Mmmmm, alpaca.

I wanna see the mittens! Purple! What pattern are you using? Post pictures soon please!

They are a little curly right now, I think it has something to do with the picot edge and the softness of the alpaca, but they straighten out on the hand, and I am hoping to block it into submission.

The mittens are a generic pattern from the Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns, and the Fair Isle is of my own design. Right now I am rethinking these, as the FI part is of a smaller gauge than the rest, and that makes the mitten a little too small.
