Better news

Despite attempts by Canada Post to keep my birthday presents, I have been showered with well wishes!  I got a fabulous jacket from my in-laws (Thanks!  I will eventually get a picture sent off... it's just to hot to dress up right now).  I am continually amazed at how well they can pick out a article of clothing which fits me so perfectly from across the country!

I also got a fantastic CD from Greg and Leanne.  Am listening to it now!  Thanks for the recommendation, this IS a good song!  Also, these two packages confirmed the fact that this year was the year of awesome birthday cards!  They were terrific right across the board!

With birthday book money from my parents, I chose these two books, shown here posing with my newly-acquired Jaegar Trinity and my sexy new Addi Turbos, courtesy of Ellen!



I am aware that the picture is shaky... sadly I took five pictures and this was the best one.  Obviously it was taken pre-caffiene.
